A work in progress is progress.
I'm an actor, filmmaker, and social entrepreneur based in San Francisco. I am also an early adopter of media technology. At the age of five, I immigrated to the United States from the Philippines. After graduating from Rutgers University, I worked as a journalist at a daily newspaper. During this time, I fell in love with telling people's stories. After leaving the print industry, I began producing my own mobile video interviews. I have interviewed hundreds of entrepreneurs, celebrities and influencers including Richard Branson, Leah Busque, and Tia Carrere. Now, I am the founder and CEO of, WEXL.org, a 501(c)3 nonprofit that connects historically underrepresented populations to creative leadership work and professional development in media, film, and entertainment. For fun, I'm an oil painter, hobby chef and wine aficionado, which I sometimes live webcast on Facebook Live and Periscope. I live in San Francisco with my husband, Michael. I often travel to Los Angeles and New York for work and am lucky enough to have friends and family in those media epicenters.
